Mission: Episode 19 - Tomorrow's Galileo
Location: USS Galileo-A - Deck 3, Rafe Caradec's Senior Quarters
Timeline: MD 01, 1614 hrs

Rafe sat on his couch, a stoic face betraying the desperation beneath the surface. Rafe was going to voice more than he did in the meeting with Rear Admiral Saalm, much more, until the bomb was dropped that somehow the data regarding Cold Station 18 had been leaked. His heart went cold and his body numb. It couldn't be...could it? Would it be traced to him?!? There was so much still unknown. He had to find out, and he had little time to do it.

He leaned forward as his mind started racing. It was imperative he either found out if it was his data that was leaked or if it truly happened the way they said. At this point, they could say it was leaked by a jolly green leprechaun, for all it mattered. He would have to use the repairs as a fact-finding mission to either verify himself as the cause of all of this, and thereby requiring him to delete any evidence of that back in his timeline, or exonerate himself of all culpability.

He dare not ask anyone to help. He was in this alone, with limited time, and with a heightened number of eyes on him. Of course, they were on everyone, to make sure they were taking care of their respective assigned tasks, and in record time. He would need access, unprecedented access, and him, a Lieutenant Junior Grade. How to accomplish that was something else altogether.

Dare he see the Rear Admiral? Can he beguile her? Could he play her? He was there. He did have that on his side. He had to try. Of course, he may never fly again. He may never do anything again!

Officer Caradec stood up, straightening his uniform, and grabbed the PADD from his end table. He, facing the exit from his quarters, spoke to the room as if it was an ultimatum to a nemisis, "Alright Lirha, let's see what you got!"
