"There was a young woman who showed the trait of being A’ksu. That trait of being able to learn quickly. Though she had been born into the House of the Weavers, the Mother there determined that she should be sent to Waraquim, the House of the knowledge keepers. This was a very prestigious opportunity for the young girl. One day she showed up back at the House of the Weavers. The Mother asked why she had returned so soon, and the young woman said she missed her home. The Mother took the young girl down to the looms where the rare and beautiful Treillium silk was woven. The Mother found the best piece that was being woven. She then grabbed a pair of scissors and cut what had been woven on the loom. The young woman cried out, puzzled at what the Mother had done. The Mother took the young woman and pointed to the ruined weaving. “If something is stopped halfway, it is like this cut silk on the loom. It is only helpful if it is finished. Now it is nothing but a mess, and so it is with your study at the House of the Knowledge Keepers. The young woman was very moved, and she left again and went on with her studies and did not return for many years until she had gained outstanding achievements."
