Rule number one.

Never, ever let your heart take control of your head.

Rule number two.

Never let anyone see what you are thinking.

Rule number three.

Always be professional.

And herein lies the problem, my dear computer...I am absolutely totally not good at following my own personal rules! I mean, what the hell? Seems I am always either putting my foot in it, or in general not getting it. On the happier side, at least I have a good department to work in. Problem now is, I feel like painting the town red and I know it ain't gonna be pretty. Not that it ever is, you know. Pretty. More like pretty bad whenever I get worked up over something.

Shoreleave has come just in time. And I got a new rank! I mean, a new rank! Promotion even, not a demotion! No idea how that happened, I remember being absolutely bottom of the barrell on this mission. Still. Can't complain. And there's the party and oh boy, I am so going to dress up. Classy this time. Show them I am more than a rock chick. I can be classy. I can be real classy.

Except the fact I ripped the tights. Twice. And the mascara incident which has left my left eye pink. Pink eye. Yum. Perfect. So I am cooling it with a slice of cucumber and then finishing my make up.

Did I mention there's drinks there? I am going to get so wasted! In a classy way of course...
