Personal Log

I think creating the rotating EMP onto the planet is exactly the way to go for our current need of a distraction. Lt. Manual Lucero came up with the idea. In a way, I kinda of wish that I had thought of it first.

Sometimes I feel restrained in my role as Helmsman. Yes, that is where my duty lies, but I know so much more. I guess i need to re-evaluate my knowledge base compared to my expected limitations. I feel that I know the Commander well enough to believe that she would want suggestions from all personnel, even if it’s from a different department than the task at hand.

Of course, I shouldn’t speak out with authority on something that I didn’t fully understand or lacked the technical expertise. But where is that line? Where is that line of speaking out of turn? I certainly have no desire to speak out of turn of make someone look foolish, especially myself.

No. This concept of speaking or making ‘out of the box’ suggestions will need to be considered deeply before doing that again.
