The Avondale Shipyards were boring. Luckily, Azra had the ability to entertain herself. She closed out the file she was looking at. She'd been revisiting old projects since most of her work aboard Stalingrad had tapered off to just about nothing.

"Computer, begin personal log." Azra sighed. She hated making these kinds of logs, but it was both a part of Starfleet regulations and something she had been trying to do for herself. "Stalingrad is scheduled for decommissioning tomorrow morning. Then I'm officially adrift for at least a couple weeks. Unofficially, however, I've got some schematics and operational documentation to read up on. I've officially been accepted aboard the USS Galileo as bosun. "

"It was the posting I was hoping to get. I'm really hopeful. Despite the bad press about Captain Saalm and her former crew, there's a reason that she was able to return to service as a captain after spending years at a much higher rank. It speaks highly of the results she's managed to get for Starfleet."

"Starting with a new crew is going to be an interesting experience. Up to this point, I've always worked with established crews to bring training and policy enforcement up to standard. This time I have to develop the core training regimens and implement them."

"On one hand, I think it's going to be a lot easier to get everyone to accept the standards I'd like to uphold. After all, I'm not trying to change already established habits. On the other hand, the crew won't have an instinctual knowledge of how their fellows will work. That familiarity makes things run a whole lot more smoothly."

"I don't know. I think it'll be fun. Um, well, that's all I've got today. Computer, end log."
