I can't help but feel that there's something to the future that distinguishes it from the simple connotative standard of its extra-spatial measurements.

A device of the sentient will, perhaps. Something that is created as a result of the rituals of causality. Our causal universe indicates that everything in existence has a cause and will ever produce an effect that will cause something else to "happen", thereby becoming a cause in itself. The rituals of interactions, the rules of physics by which the multiverse plays, of all energy and matter both known and unknown, are the exercise of a all-encompassing will.

Why does all of this exist? It just does. It is willed to happen. The purpose is to create itself so that it may create itself. The entirety of the multiverse to my sentient consciousness is created by my brain, the seat of said consciousness. A fabric of reality composed of interwoven fibers of potassium and sodium, acetylcholine, adenine, guanine, thymine, cytosine, uracil, and all of the other biochemicals necessary for the production of neurons, their signals, and interpretations of the five physical sensory systems of my particular body. Reality really is subjective; as is the future.

The entirety of reality being a result of the exercise of my will, and with the future being an effect of the causes in the present reality... The whole causal multiverse thing I mentioned earlier... Cause and Effect... I am in direct control of the future and the rituals that create it. But to control the multiverse with this omnipotence that the sentient possess, one must gain the ultimate virtue of knowledge. To know all that can be known and to be aware of one's self, is to be a power that is far greater than the infinite energies of the multiverse itself. A good physicist or general scientist can directly cause in a lab, to 100% accuracy, the result that he desires in the physical world based on his knowledge of the independent variables in an experiment as well as every interaction between them. Their states, their energy, and their properties in sum. Imagine if all knowledge of the multiverse was ascertained? Anything would be controllable. Anything would be possible.

A nightmare or symbolic dream which we cannot control occurs only when we are unaware of the intricacies that underlie our problems in life.

Doesn't it make sense that the only time we can fully control our dreams and create our own private universes is when we know all that is within our subconscious mind? Knowledge is power and Omniscience is Omnipotence.

Man, I should stop drinking all of that synthehol. There's no way that stuff is as healthy as people say.
