Personal Log

It has been a rather interesting few days. I’m getting very comfortable in my new quarters, here aboard the Galileo. I have seen another Andorian on board, but have not had time nor the opportunity to track her down and speak with her. I’m not actually sure if she is one of the crew or just one of the many construction personnel that have been frantically trying to finish up completion.

As for Completion, I have not been informed yet as to when to expect the launch of the Galileo from Space Dock. I really don’t know if we are waiting on additional crew to arrive in or some important installation to be completed. All I know is that the power and propulsion systems are functional and ready to be tested. The guidance system tests out to be perfectly functional, but that is all hypothetical until we put this ‘New Lady’ to the real test in space.

I can assume that once we launch, we will have a one or two day cruise before returning for some diagnostic testing on the new systems. It’s standard operating procedure.

The last couple days have been very productive for me. I’ve had the opportunity to have time on a holodeck going through drills and multiple simulations. During my off hours, I’ve made a few aquaintences.

I think this assignment is going to definately be good for me.
