It looks like my application to the new Galileo has not gone well, I told John about it and he said if I really want it I should try again but add a more.... personal touch to it by writing to its captain in person so here goes.

To the Captain of USS Galileo, I would like to talk to you, in person if I can, about my application to serve on your ship. I know my original try was not accepted...... and I would like to know your reasons for not accepting it so I can work to make them better and show that I am a good choice to serve with you.
