"I've spent the last several days working out the details of the training I want to run through. Part of this protocol is forcing the cadets to deal with unexpected issues. As the acting chief engineer, I've got to create some issues for the cadets to deal with. I can't compromise the holographic systems, after all, they're being used to simulate patients."

"I know that I've got to pick something that won't cause issues with normal operation, but something that will still challenge the cadets. I'm thinking of having a transporter issue crop up. Nothing that will stop normal operations, just enough to cause some trouble."

Edward scratched behind his ear with one finger, contemplating the issue. "Maybe I can create a short in one of the secondary EPS conduits that leads to transporter control. As a secondary conduit, it'll restrict the flow of additional power, but it won't actually stop the system from functioning."

"Yeah, I think that's a good idea. I've still got to work up a couple of additional roadblocks, but I'll work on those while I'm crawling through the jeffries tubes."

"Computer, end log."
