Personal Log 1 - 1 Month, 3 Days Prior Galileo's Destruction

Aren looked at the PADD in his hand. He looked exhausted, felt even worse. “Computer, start personal log.”

“It has been 3 days since my shuttle was captured by a Klingon named Ko’rah. I don’t remember his rank exactly but I think it was General or Commander I can’t remember.” He paused for a moment, wincing in pain before starting again.

“I guess I should start with what happened. About a week ago I was given orders to report to USS Tian An Men as the ships new XO. Also part of that order was a transfer of equipment, a type 9 shuttle craft. I opted to take the shuttle to the Tian An Men. After about a day at warp 3 I encountered a reading emanating from the Paulsen Nebula. I choose to take a closer look. Right as I entered the Nebula a Klingon Bird-of-Prey de-cloaked and I was forced to surrender.” Aren said, a look of pain which kind of turned into slight embarrassment.

Aren looked around for a moment, almost as if he was searching for the right things to say before continuing. “I was brought to this….place. It looks like some sort of Colony. I was…aggressively interviewed for a few days and was eventually given usage of my PADD and a basic replicator.” The image turned to show an outdated and dilapidated looking replicator, before returning to Aren’s face. “I still don’t know why I am here, or what they want. I haven’t seen anyone except for Klingons. Though I was pretty sure I heard someone speaking in Romulan.”

He stopped again, his view shifting to something outside of the camera’s view, but what could be assumed was a door. He waited for several moments before continuing. “I am pretty sure this is being recorded by more than just me right now, but I wanted to start a log. I just…I don’t know, I feel compelled to. I just hope I can find out what is going on here, so that I can get out of here. Computer, End Log.”
