Last time...

Not expecting to be kissed, Maenad tensed before she embraced it. It felt good, she thought, and she did like it. More than was probably good for her, actually. But she ignored those voices, and she could feel the liquor still circulating enough to impair her better judgement. She pushed the captain down into the sand, gently guiding her with one arm, so that she was now on top of her. What was she doing? Her wet hair was clung together and hung around her face and Lirha's. Maenad opened her eyes, withdrawing to rub her nose against Lirha's neck and shoulders, inhaling the natural perfume of her skin and feeling a tingle of pleasure in her bare shoulders. She stopped for a pause, and looked at the sunset, thinking that maybe she ought to apologise for whatever the hell she had just done, but she didn't. A mischievous grin remained on her lips instead as she watched the sun sink further...

And now the conclusion...

[ON]

It was a pleasant surprise as Lirha suddenly found herself on her back with Maenad on top of her. The captain could feel her own heart beating quickly now, and she stared up at Maenad with a look of desire in her green eyes. Slowly, Lirha reached behind her back and un-tied her bikini top, then pulled it off and tossed it to the side. "Maenad...make love to me. Right here." she said in a sultry voice as she reached up and stroked the side of her face and damp hair. Underneath the sunset, Lirha thought she looked stunningly beautiful.

Then everything hit Maenad like a freight train. What was she doing? Out here? On the beach? Sure it was private enough and they were far from anyone on the ship? She had been drunk before and had better judgement? Still, the desire was there and so was Lirha. And she was the one who had taken things up this time, and when she had no idea what she was doing. Maenad had never been asked by a woman to make love to her; she didn't know what to do. What could she do?

Maenad looked down at Lirha beside her, showing her teeth in a bizarre smile. Her cheeks became flush with an unconscious desire. She climbed on top of her, bent herself and kissed her neck and the flat of her chest, working her way downward as she supported herself with her elbows. She used her hands and lips confidently while taking long breaths though her nostrils of Lirha's skin and hair. But her hands worked with inexperience and an awkward sort of clumsiness that she regretted. As she played with Lirha, she drew her body closer and closer. She saw that what she was doing was working, which excited her. Now, exactly when it had happened could have been anyone's guess, she was only using one elbow to support her weight while her free hand had gone out of sight, meanwhile she sensually traced the tip of her nose along the lines of Lirha's neck and chest.

The Orion's breathing became raspy as she felt the pleasure of Maenad's hands and lips roaming across her body and tending to her most sensitive areas. With a series of soft moans, Lirha arched her back into Maenad and reached down to remove the bottom of her bikini. Tossing it aside with the rest of her hastily-discarded garments, she closed her eyes as felt the science chief's long fingers begin to explore the wet folds in between her green legs. Lirha whimpered with ecstasy as she felt them slip inside of her, then caressed her hands against Maenad's back and shoulders.

"Yes," Maenad said, pleased to see that whatever she'd been doing had worked. She kept at it, keeping track of the sounds and movements of Lirha's body. Eventually, she didn't know how long, Lirha tensed and relaxed. Slowly and ever so gently, Maenad brought her hands up to Lirha's face and flicked heavy strands of hair off her forehead. The sun had almost gone down completely, casting them in a romantic dusk. Half the sky was starting to show the brightest stars, she saw when she looked up, and the few lingering clouds had disappeared. She laid down beside the captain and listened to her breathing while staring at the stars, knowing that soon she would be among them.

Still trembling slightly from her climax and looking a bit disheveled, Lirha rolled over and wrapped an arm around Maenad's stomach, then scooted close to give her another long and deep kiss. "Mmm...." she mumbled, her thoughts still fuzzy from the alcohol and her recent orgasm. "You're getting better." she teased, but was honestly impressed with Maenad's touch of hand. Despite the woman's conservative appearance, Lirha thought she was quite a natural beneath the sheets.

Maenad smiled nervously at the compliment. "I'm glad," she whispered toward the sky. "Should we head back before it gets too dark?" she asked. "Rest first," she smiled, adding before the captain could answer her.

Lirha slowly nodded as she glanced around the sky and concurred. "I left my tricorder on the other side of the cove but I'm guessing we have another twenty minutes of light, at the most." she replied. "We can leave in five minutes and still make it back across." she added, then stifled a small yawn. Rest was a good idea, Lirha thought, but she knew that if she spent anymore private time with Maenad in the cove, she would probably lose track of time all together, and five minutes could very well turn into hours of sensual fun.

Once the blue haze of the matter stream had dissipated, Agent Donovon Muldaur was standing alone behind a small thicket of natural hedgerow. He was wearing all black; his pants, military boots, tunic, and gloves - even his backpack. In one hand was his phaser, set on stun, and in his other was a tricorder. Quickly and expertly his eyes scanned the terrain around him; in the woods it was dark now; he was not concerned with being seen. A rapid tricorder scan of the area confirmed that no one was around, but one could never be sure.

Muldaur made his way through the brush until he reached the thicket's edge, following a molecular disturbance trail that had apparently been made by a human female. Yes, she was here, he realised. Within the last thirty minutes, though; she could be anywhere by now. He continued, picking up residual traces of Orion pheromones as well, which he thought was incredibly odd. Perhaps the tricorder was malfunctioning.

Another scan told him that the area outside of the brush was clear of any humanoids and, after a second check with his eyes, he emerged onto the rock. He was in a sizeable cove; a quaint pebble beach, still water, coastline flora. There was a natural ridge of coastal rock wall that protected it from the ocean surf for about two hundred metres in front of him, then it faded and the water became rough. The sandy beach of of Puam Dingh could faintly be made out in the distance, across the rougher waters. Muldaur made another passive scan of his surroundings; he was getting readings from the other side of the ridge of rock, so he cautiously headed in that direction.

It took him a moment to make his way over the ridge, over the arm of rock that protected the cove, and he followed his tricorder. It led him to patch of sand, where he could make out footprints and disturbances on the soil. They were Human, and Orion? Muldaur closed his tricorder; the captain must have been her. Just like she was that night, when he had had to resort to Plan B and insert a data rod into the science lab. He swore aloud, under his breath of course, and kicked at the sand. He resumed following the tricorder scan, which led him to the water's edge. He saw a dress folded neatly with a red cardigan on a rock, as well as a tricorder. They must have been out swimming, he concluded. It was getting darker now, and Muldaur knew that his figure against the rock behind him was enough camouflage to prevent from being seen by anyone out in the water. Still, he had to act quickly. He swung his pack around and pulled out a pair of binoculars, setting them to infrared. He looked out to the sea and immediately saw a pair of humanoids two kilometres out.

"What?" he mumbled. "Two kilometres?" What the hell were they doing out so far? Muldaur set optics to maximum zoom. With a frown, he lowered the binoculars. "No," he muttered, taking another look. They couldn't be... He kept staring, not believing his eyes. Yes, he thought, Panne was... He replaced the binoculars in his pack and shook his head. He picked up the tricorder and interfaced with his own, copying all of its data into his in a matter of seconds. He then replaced either Panne or Saalm's tricorder the way he had found it. He climbed back to the opposite side of the ridge to prevent the blue shimmer of the transporter from being seen, and he returned to base. Hopefully he found something of use on the tricorder.
