ON:

As Evelyn's body materialized onto a small transporter platform, a voice called out to her; "I'm in the kitchen!" Eve stepped off the platform and walked down the hall towards the voice until she found her owner. Lucia was sitting on the stool, leaning on her counter. "What took you so long?" She asked smirking.

Evelyn chuckled, "I'm sorry for keeping you waiting."

"Come here." Lucia laughed as she moved towards Evelyn, wrapping her arms tightly around the blonde. "Oh child, how I've missed you; I know you're not my daughter but ever since you rejoined Starfleet I've been worried sick." She said as she pulled away.

"Lucia, I rejoined four decades ago," Eve stated, arching her brow. "In fact, weren't you the one encouraging me to return to active duty?"

Lucia looked at Evelyn and shrugged at her comment, "Look, Eve, you had the office I wanted at the Academy. It was either take the smaller office or get you to leave. Not my fault you bought my argument."

Lucia's honesty caused Evelyn to burst out laughing. "Well I guess I live to serve."

"Well you better serve your life some more fun, darling; please tell me there is a man in your life by now."

Eve shook her head, "My career is important to me...."

"Don't give me that bull-donkey Evelyn." Luciana interrupted, "But, I understand, you're now in Intelligence, and I guess coupling is...well ok I understand. So what were you doing on Mars?"

"Nothing major, just giving moral support to a friend of mine as he visits his parents." Eve shrugged.

"He? Ohhh tell me, what is the name of this He?" Lucia smirked, sitting back on the stool, eyes locked with Eve's.

Evelyn chuckled, "His name is Jonathan Holliday, and he's the First Officer of the ship I serve on, the Galileo."

"Wow, sleeping with Command, good girl."

"Lucia! No!" Eve shouted not sure whether to laugh or not. "He's just a friend. He had issues with his father..."

"You met the parents already?!" Lucia's eyes widen, "how serious are you two?"

Eve sighed, "Luciana, knock it off. There is nothing going on with me and Holliday, we're friends, nothing more." She argued as she sat down on the stool.

Luciana looked at her friend and nodded, "Alright... alright, I understand Eve. He's ugly."

"Actually he's quite handsome. It's just I have more things on my mind recently than coupling." She replied sighing, "Things have been very, weird lately." Eve then explained the vision incident at sickbay and her multiple visions about her red-eyed "cousin."

Luciana scrunched her brow as she listened to her Eve explained and when she finished her eyes relaxed and a small smile appeared on her lips. "El-Moira..."

Eve nodded, "It's real isn't it? That planet exists, how else can you explain it?"

The elder El-Aurian pressed her lips together as if figuring out what to say. "It does exist." She confessed.

"You care to explain that?" Evelyn asked glaring at her friend, "I've been taught it's a myth..."

"So did I, but a long time ago they've reached out to me," Luciana sighed as she moved off the stool and walked around the counter. "They're us El-Moira was El-Auria's first and only Colony world. Of course, just like Earth and Mars, or even Earth and Alpha Centauri; we had two cultures. El-Aurians were the Listeners; El-Moirans are the Observers."

"What happened? What did they say to you?" Eve was more curious now.

"I don't know the whole history, Evelyn. From what I could gather, the Nexus had a role. It passed through the El-Moira's star and changed it, causing the entire system to go temporally out of phase..."

"...which means to everyone around them, they vanished as if they never existed." Eve sighed seeing the trend now. "So they're reaching out to bring us home."

"You always were the smart one." Luciana smirked, "Look, they reach out let you know; there is a second world for us. They've been observing us, and since it's been a century and we haven't reunited to form a home for ourselves, they're welcoming us with open arms."

Evelyn crossed her arms, and thought for a moment, "And they clearly prefer secrecy...if they are capable of reaching out through visions why not just...reveal themselves in person?"

"If they did, Eve, would you have believed them?" Luciana questioned, looking into Evelyn's blue orbs.

Eve held her friend's gaze for only a moment longer before her shoulders sank and she sighed. Shaking her head she answered, "No, I wouldn't have. This is their way of disproving any doubts before they finally contact me."

"They know what they're doing. Also if the planet just reappeared, can you imagine the attention? Starfleet would have a field day, imagine what we...all of us in the Federation will go through."

"It would cause quite a ruckus; Starfleet may react negatively if that ever happens. Intelligence would even question my loyalty; we'd all be considered spies." Eve commented.

"Don't you just love the post-Dominion War universe?" Luciana chuckled, "Eve. You're a young kid. You need to start living your life. Quit worrying about the past and just do things that you enjoy doing."

Eve looked up at Luciana and smiled, "Where would I be without you?"

"Sweetheart, if you have to ask that, it clearly means you're not having enough fun. Now tell me more about this attractive XO of yours."

Evelyn rolled her eyes, "You never turn it off do you?"

"Oh darling, have you not learned anything in the last hundred years?"
