Eelim leaned against the wall. It had not been easy. He'd been beamed aboard this garbage ship and then he'd been forced to fight a few Klingons cause he truly believed the resistance was not futile and to top it off he had no idea where Allyndra was. He was tied in knots and in a lot of pain.

Every time the security door opened he stood up and hoped it was Allyndra but it was never her.

He sighed. "Where are you my flower?" He asked nobody in particular as he closed his eyes.

Allyndra was finally shoved in one of the brigs and she had to grab the wall as the room spun yet again. She was not sure how long it had been but she hoped that her transmitter array had gotten something out.

Right now it was all she could do to remain upright her head hurt.

Eelim sighed and opened his eyes. They scanned the brig and were drawn to a figure clinging to the wall. His heart stopped at her pale complexion. "Princess!" He stood and was across the brig in no time shoving one of the other crewmembers who was at her side. "Princess!" He pulled her into his arms. "Are you alright? What happened?" The questions, the panic that was setting in. If those Klingons had harmed a hair on her head he'd break them all.

Allyndra all but literally fell into Eelim's arms. "I think I have a concussion. I keep having periods of blacking out. You must keep me awake and.....fetch me my medkit. It is important. I will tell you more in a moment."

Eelim gently set her down. He hurried away and brought the med kit. He handed it to her. "Do you need blood?" His hands shook with worry for her.

"No I am fine, and with so many injured my needs are minimal. " She smiled wryly, "I could always stand to loose a few pounds to be lighter on the wings...," she shifted shaking her head looking at the half portion of one. "Well what there is left." She turned her gaze directly toward him. "Now as for you...come let me tend to you."

Eelim had just now seen the state of her wings. His face, normally a pale shade of grey turned bright red. "Who?!" He demanded. "Who did this to you? Which one of those animals." For the first time every he felt rage, sorrow, fear. He pulled Allyndra into his arms. He pulled back and cupped her face. "What can I do for you? How can I help with you wings? Describe the Klingon who did that."

"They were broken in the explosion," she explained. "When we lost gravity, natural reaction and they were caught by debris." She patted the floor. "They will grow back eventually. Now come sit and let me tend to you and hold you. Right now nothing more in the entire universe than to hang onto something precious."

And just like that his anger deflated. He sat down by her and pulled her into his arms. "I was so worried about you." He kissed her forehead and held onto her tightly. His wounds were nothing compared to his need to just hold her.

Allyndra just leaned into him. She knew that there were many that needed attending but for a little while she needed to just be something other then a senior officer for the moment. The Admiral was missing, that much she had pretty much figured out and considering that the ship was gone, the pods had been destroyed very unlikely to have survived. It was too much and so she wanted nothing more then to shuck the responsibility to the rest if just for a little bit of time.

"Oh Eelim, the Twins have not given up on us yet. I am glad you are here." She kissed him not caring what the others thought.

Eelim kissed her back with passion, hunger, relief, and joy. She, in the short time, had become his world. There was something that drew him to her like a bee to flowers. He just held her not caring what the others thought. "I'm so glad you are okay." He said leaning his head on her forehead.

"Now let us take a look at those injuries and I will need an assistant for the rest. Unfortunately, responsibility and duty call upon us once again."

He sighed. "It does my Allyndra. My princess." He kissed her lips briefly and let her look at him. He knew that he had a few broken ribs and cuts. He was more worried about her. "After let me scan you to make sure you are okay. Or if you want Dr. Eviess is here...although she's not well."

Allyndra smiled, "Other then a broken wing and a small concussion I am fine. It is natural instinct and learning to survive crashes. We have a saying: 'The ground is a harsh mistress'." She laughed lightly as she worked on his cuts. She took his tunic top off and then used it to bind ribs.

"There we go, my darling," she whispered in his ear. "We are not lost yet."

He smiled at her, his hand lightly touching her cheek. "My turn, Tell me how I can help with the wing. While you are doing that let me make sure that's all that's wrong." He took her took the small tricorder scanner and began to check her. He didn't' like the fact that she had a concussion. They were unpredictable and h knew he would have to watch her. She would want to tend to people and in a way that was bad, because she needed rest, and good because she needed to stay awake. He would be with her every step of the way. The tricorder only told him what she had. She had a few bruises and cuts and he was able to help with those. He took her hand. "Now the wing. Is there something I can do to make the pain less or to help with healing?"

"There is not much you can do. It will detach on its own." Allyndra made a small face. There was something that Akkadians did not mention to outsiders but in this case perhaps considering Eelim was her chosen. "This is not to be shared but pulling the wings off causes a surge of hormones that will kill us. We do not talk about that to others but you are my love."

She smiled and then added, "I will not be doing water dancing for a little bit of time."

He looked horrified, "Can we wrap the wing? Protect it?" He wasn't going to chance someone pulling that wing out. He had an idea. He removed his uniform jacket. "Put this over your wings. I can't ..." Then it hit him. "Love?" He grinned like an idiot. "Did you say..."

"Did I now?" Allyndra replied coyly. "Or perhaps you would prefer A'mili a'mili?" She smiled for real for the first time in seemingly a long time. "It means beloved."

His grin got bigger and he pulled her into his arms. He heard one of the ensign's ask for a tricorder and turned to him, "She's busy." His lips slanted over hers in a passionate kiss. He knew he had to let her go, to tend to the wounded but he'd steal a few more moments with her.

Allyndra wanted nothing more than to melt away in his arms, her head swam part from the concussion part from the passion. "Keep that up and perhaps it will be A'moi." She did not bother to translate but only let him wonder. "Now let us get as many ready for a fight, for that maybe what it will probably come down to."

One more quick kiss and he reluctantly let her go. "You're the boss!" He said cheerfully. He'd still keep an eye on her.

"In a moment, a'milli a'milli. Let met use that one last time for just a bit before the mantel of responsibility drops again and if you could," she looked around. "One more kiss for luck."
