Abbey laid on the table bloodied and broken, blood dripped soundlessly onto the floor as the doors to the room opened and light softer foot steps entered the room. "Its fine you can leave us" the voice said to the guard and shortly after the door once again opened and closed. She recognised that voice. She should do, after all it was hers.

"I'd be lying to say if you'd be safe and that you'd be all right" The Mirror Universe of herself said. "But, we have all done things right? I have killed, you killed and in the name of what?" A laugh left the lips of the other Abbey "Freedom? Dominion? Look at you, you're weak like he was! Filled with ambition and... hope. It left you with nothing, me nothing except you had a choice. You... had... him... Our father yet here you are on this table resilient and dying! WHY WONT YOU JUST TELL US, THEM WHAT THEY WANT! WHY SHOULD HE HAVE TO LOOSE A DAUGHTER!" A hand struck Abbey's face. "YOU SELFISH BITCH!"

Letting out a shallow scream Abbey barley registered the hit, over the past hours, days, weeks? She couldn't remember she had been exposed to the true horrors of the Terran Empire and now she did lay weak and useless. "I..." She tried drawing breath "Don't know anything" She repeated like the hundred times before. "Why are you doing this to me!" The last bit came raspy as she coughed up blood from the internal bleeding.

Not looking as she picked up a scalpel from the tray to her right Terran Abbey brought it down hard and into the already bloodied and bruised hand of her weaker counterpart who only barley let out a gasp as fresh oozing blood left the wound. "You're a liar! You dont even love him do you! Why do you, this weak, this pitiful excuse of a woman be allowed to have the only thing I cared for and have it taken away from me and yet YOU! GET HIM!" She brought the blade up and back down tears streaming from her eyes.

Trying to keep conciousness Abbey let out a silent tear "I... am... sorry" She rasped her voice becoming more hoarse "That in this universe... Your, our father is dead but in mine he isn't. Do right by him... help me" She asked the tears running down her swollen chin darting in and out of the dry crusted blood like a ballet dancer. Ballet, something she would never have the pleasure of doing ever again.

Wanting nothing more than to silence her weaker counterpart she pushed away from the table throwing the blade across the room, the metallic clang and scratching as it skidded along the floor before coming to the rest was all that made a sounds. "Sorry? You don't know the meaning of sorry... The things I've done, the families I have torn apart, killed even, and you're saying sorry to me?" She shook her head. "Just tell me what they want to know and we can end this now and you can get the medical attention you need." She pleaded knowing that Lamar was Likely watching, as his young successor an trainee he enjoyed watching her.

Taking a moment to think of a way of this bed, out of this room and back to the Galileo, her Galileo. "Ok" She said, the loose bindings just enough allowing movement to the silver blade below her bed. "I will tell you, but only you" She said feeling the coldness of the metal and the warmth of the dripping blood as pain flared through it.

Turning around Abbey eyed the camera and positioned herself so that it blocked the view so not even lip readers could see what she had to say "Well?" She pushed for the information wanting nothing more but to leave the room. The Abbey laying on the bed motioned for her to come closer to her ear, she must be tired from talking and the beating she must have endured.

Powered by adrenaline Abbey had managed to cut free on of her restraints and motioned for her evil self to come closer, just a little closer. "Good" She said thrusting the blade up and into her mirror self's chest a chain of reactions leading to her screaming and blood pouring from the wound.

"YOU BITCH I COULD HAVE HELPED YOU!" She screamed clutching her side blood pouring from the wound, she could tell she missed any major arteries but it still hurt like hell. Kicking the blade from the not so weak and defenceless Abbey, she forgot about her wound and tightened her hands around her neck pushing her up against the bed. "YOU...HAVE... NO... IDEA!" She squeezed harder, so hard that the colour from her own hands turned a pale blue which was nothing compared to the other Abbey.

Kicking, thrashing and doing anything to break the hold Abbey could barley breath and as the grip got tighter she knew... that look, the look of someone who was about to take another person's life that she was about to die facing herself. "Find him...Our Father" She pleaded giving up as the light turned to grey.

"DONT YOU DARE CALL HIM THAT!" Abbey screamed as the sound of the door's opening behind her and footsteps racing across the floor. She squeezed and squeezed until there was nothing let to squeeze and in that moment Abbey realised what she had become, she had become the very thing she hated.

Lamar rushed into the interrogation chamber with two other security personnel hot on his heels...but it was too late. He quickly grabbed Abbey and threw her to the side and into the arms of his escorts, and reached down to examine the woman on the table.

Her eyes were wide open and her mouth was agape, and the lifeless stare in her irises told him everything he needed to know. She was dead.

He grabbed hold of her shoulders and shook her a few times out of a natural futility response, then began to do CPR on the woman.

A long minute passed during which he pumped his fist deep into her chest and breathed air into her lungs in an attempt to revive her, but after two minutes had passed, he slowly released his hands from her and looked down at the floor with anger and frustration.

"What did you do...?!?" he demanded of the other Abbey.

Abbey had managed to shrug of the two security guards but stared shocked at her work before looking down to her bloodied hands "I... I killed her" She said realising the situation "She... Deserved it" She finally added through grit teeth only half believing what she had said.

The major brought his hands to his head and gripped his short stubbled hair tightly while he looked at the scene in front of him. His eyes darted towards the dead Abbey then back to the living one, then towards the guards. It was a complete mess, and he didn't know what to do.

Instinctively, his right hand reached down to his waist and he quickly pulled his phaser and pointed it towards the guards. "Get out, now!" he ordered, instructing both of them to leave the cell with urgency. "And don't speak of this or I'll kill you myself!"

The two men exchanged nervous glanced while slowly backpedaling, then they turned and rushed out of the door and into the hallway. Perhaps to inform someone else.

Lamar then turned back towards Abbey and aimed his weapon at her. "Why did you do that? The general will kill you if he finds out!" he said, exasperated. "What were you thinking?!"

She started at the phaser and then to the door before turning back to Lamar "I... I was thinking!" She snapped. "She wasn't going to live and I'm fed up of watching you torture her and her not telling you anything! If she loved him she would have told you, but she didn't deserve to live," she spat out.

"Loved him?" asked Lamar with a perplexed look. "Who? Your father?" He wasn't sure what he had to do with any of this, but there seemed to be some internal strife going on with her emotions that was clouding her judgement. Or perhaps, something he couldn't even understand.

Abbey crossed her arms "It's stupid! I didn't even get on that well with him but when he was murdered" She never saw eye to eye with most people on the crew but Lamar despite his humanity most of the time seemed to know when to help. "I need to get off this ship" She said finally "They'll kill me" Abbey added.

Lamar pulled his PADD from his belt and quickly looked over the list of prisoners they'd so far cataloged from the mirror Galileo vessel. He stopped scrolling when he came across the man he thought she was referring to. "You mean Luke Wyatt? That's your father?" he asked, then showed her the PADD with the image of him. "Because he's alive...and aboard that starship we just captured."

She nodded "And Because I just killed a prisoner and for that they will flush me out of an airlock alone... If I'm lucky." She turned away letting out an audible sigh and letting her frustration bleed away before turning back. "Please Lamar, just assign me to the ship and I'll do the rest."

"To the ship? The other Galileo?!" he clarified. It was an outrageous plan, if it could even be called that. He wasn't sure that she'd last more than a few hours before Holliday found out about her, at which point she'd be discovered and captured. "What are you planning to do?"

She shook her head in frustration "The less you know the better you'll be off, besides if you help willingly you'd be killed to and you've already done to much" She insisted. "Assign me to Sergeant Gaynor's security team and everything else I'll do, and no I won't tell you what that will be," Abbey offered the man wondering if she'd be able to just kill him and then make a break for it, time was running out.

Lamar considered it for a few moments. Very long moments. Technically, he would be committing high treason by allowing her to defect, which would mean his own execution if it was discovered. There was the option to falsify his reports, however, which would possibly conceal his role in the matter.

"Look, I don't really care what you do...you'll be dead if you stay here and probably dead if you try to escape. But...it's your choice, I guess." However she wanted to end her life was her own prerogative, he supposed, and didn't take too much of a stake in the matter.

"Fine, go. And go quick because I'm not going to cover for you once you leave this room. I hope you know what you're doing..." He motioned towards the door with his phaser, indicating for her to leave at once.

Abey would have thanked him but knew better giving him a quick respectful nod she ran. Ran for her life, for his life and for the life's of everyone on the Galileo... The fake one? The real one? She couldn't tell any more all she knew was that her long dead father was on that ship and ever since the betrayal of the empire she would do anything to get him back.
