Mission: Episode 06 - Legend of Souls
Location: USS Galileo - Dea's Office
Timeline: MD 07 - 0630 hrs

Dea had a large list of items to catch up on but she also had another important task at hand with the impending away mission. Making use of the time Dea was in her office for a short time to ensure that everything with her department was in order.

Galileo had a great Flight Control staff. Dea trusted them to handle things while she was away. However that didn't ease the tension building within. She knew away missions could be dangerous. In fact recent events were more than enough to leave Dea feeling uneasy.

At the same time she trusted the people she worked with. Quickly signing off on a final report before quickly gathering her normal gear. After that Dea walked over to the window. For a moment her gaze focused on the scene outside.

"Computer begin log"

Today is one of those days when I know that trusting my gut feeling could be more than just important. While I trust the people I serve with there's no mistaking the fact instinct can be a life saver. Let's hope it doesn't come down to that.

Orders are orders but something is telling me to be extra vigilant our there today. My gear is almost ready to go. Theres just one more thing I need to pack. I don't have time to make a long entry now, however I'll have more to say once I return.
