Mission: Episode 06 - Legend of Souls
Location: USS Galileo - Deck 2 - Transporter Room
Timeline: MD 06 - 0937 Hours

ON

The tribbles had already caused a massive amount of problems for the ship and her crew. Unfortunately, they were problems the whole of the ship would have had to deal with while at the same time trying not to get shot at by a bunch of Cardassians.

It unfortunately also meant that the staff was spread thin, and Asahi had found himself in the transporter room at wits end, pulling tribbles out of the innards of a console and nearly wanting to beam them all onto the Cardassian ship himself. That would solve all of everyone's problems.

But that would have also meant he would have had to get the thing working first. Which meant hours of attempts at keeping the tribbles away while reconnecting all the stray wires the tribbles attempted to nibble at for food. "Stupid things..."

It wasn't until some time during the morning hours, when his stomach started rumbling, that he replaced the panel while shooting glares at the tiny green puffballs that were wiggling about. "Humph. And hopefully you'll stay out this time." He eyed the console as it sprang to life, booting itself up again and giving him what seemed to be satisfactory readings. "... Wait..." He narrowed his eyes at a blinking red light, frowning. "... Crap, I bet one of those tribbles got themselves stuck in the relays..."

Sighing, he rolled his eyes and pressed the button, allowing whatever it was to finally rematerliaze on the pad.

The last thing that Louis duChampe recalled was setting foot on a transporter pad to be beamed to his new assignment. He had stepped on the padd. He had lipstick on his cheek, a party hat on and a uniformshirt that had a peice of paper and a paperclip chain on it that said "NEW MEAT".

It had been an incredible send off he had been given, But that had been days ago. He didn't know it, but he was about to be in for quite a shock. He stepped off the transporter pad and looked at the officer. He threw on his best smile and said, "Bonjour! I am Ensign duChampe, Where are my quarters? I am going to need a shower and a change of clothes before I report in!"

He could still smell the sythaehol on him, and he knew he was going to need to wash some of the Bon Voyage Party off him. He looked at Lieutenant Kita, his eyes focusing on the two pips.

"Um respectfully? Sir?"

For a rather long moment, Asahi kept his eyes transfixed on the yellow-shirted ensign, seemingly flabbergasted by the sight in front of him. Asahi had to fix his share of teleporter mishaps before, but every time, the engineer found himself staring at the results. "Ensign.... duChampe........." He blinked, raising a brow. "... Ensign, the teleporter's been busted all morning. Where exactly have you been assigned? And to what department now?"

Louis went to look at his pad, caught a wiff of the sex, burbon and some sort of perfume smell coming from himself. He shuddered for a moment recalling how some of those memories came to be. He smiled feintly remembering he never caught that couples name. His reverie was snapped out of when the datapad chirped.

"Sir, I am a trained..security officer, this really must look bad?"

He looked back at the transporter. He let out a sigh.

"The vessel is the USS Galileo, I am supossed to be a security officer. At least thats what it says on my Academy Certificate."

Louis tried to offer a reassuring smile.

"Oh, it looks pretty awful actually." There was no sense in sugar-coating his words, though Asahi found himself suppressing an amused grin. "You must have been caught in the relays somewhere in the shuffle. It's kind of funny, we've used this thing a good number of times since another Federation vessel's passed by. I'm surprised we didn't catch you in there sooner." He gestured the Ensign off the transporter pad.

"You're also lucky I'm not the head of security, or else you'd be in such a deep load right now, I bet. Kita, by the way, from Engineering. I'm going to go off on the assumption that you're well enough to get your butt down to Sickbay, because that's where I'm gonna send you... and that's before you report in, though I'd recommend maybe cleaning yourself off before you get yourself anywhere else."

"Well alright I will do that, But in my defense when I was being rotated out, they threw me a party. Since I was off duty and you know, not expected to be stuck in a pattern buffer...." Louis just smiled and realized

He then cocked an eyebrow. "Everything feels like it came along with me. But if you should happen to find say an internal organ that matches my biosigns, do com me. I will probablly be needing that?"

Louis gave a smile as he departed for the hallway. He was going to get a drink first. Then start his long list of check ins.

Welcome aboard! Too bad the transporter stasis didn't also have a detox feature ;)
