Min sat in her quarters aboard the ISS Galileo watching her servant Nesh Saalm play with Min's halfbreed daughter Lian. The child seemed unawares of much beyond Nesh and Min, her whole world at such a young age.

Keying notes into her padd, she glanced things over, her mind wandering towards her duplicate, the women who identified herself and Lt Nicholas, no doubt because she'd married Jared for some reason she couldn't fathom. Her own marriage to Jared wasn't exactly the front they put up for the others. Behind the facade they fought a lot, most nights sleeping alone though at times they occasionally slept together after a passionate night of makeup sex following an especially intense fight.

Min wondered why Min didn't bring Lian with her? From everything she knew, the Federation was proud of the fact their family's came with them into space. But with no younger children aboard ship, that could mean only one thing, some sort of military exercise where even family were not permitted? Or perhaps her Lian was an aberration, the bajoran man who impregnated her never got his paws on Min.

So many questions she wanted to ask of herself. But how stubborn would she be, and how much persuasion would she have to bring on her counterpart to convince her to talk? How damaged would that pretty face be when she was finished with her?

Putting her padd down, Min looked over at Nesh. "Bring Lian to me. It is time for her to nurse." When Nesh brought Lian over and Min had her in her arms, she waved Nesh off with a dismissive wave. "Go find Jared and see what he needs. Leave me alone with Lian." As Nesh scurried off to go attend to Jared, Min looked down at her daughter. The nose ridges were faint and with some surgery her daughter could pass for a human girl if Min wanted, but with Alien blood in her, Lian would always be an outcast amongst the terrans.
