=/\= Computer start log=/\= Keval intoned as he tossed his shirt into the reclamation hamper and called for a new one from the replicator.

=/\= I ran into a a new Lieutenant today. I don't mean he was new as a Lieutenant simply that he was new to the ship.

How do I describe him. Well first of all he seems pretty bright. We didn't do a lot of talking about deep subjects, most of the talking we were doing was just general introduction stuff. He's the assistant chief science officer.

Second he didn't talk down to me, or assume that I wasn't smart just because I wasn't an officer or a scientist. Both of which I've experienced before, though thankfully not much on this ship.

At first, I didn't pay too much attention to his looking at me. I mean I was shirtless and standing the the middle of the room. Well I was working on the climate control unit. It was putting out nothing but hot air.

But then he came over to help me. It hit me then that he was staring at me. I don't mean looking at my baby blues, or my cute little antennae. No he was looking somewhere below that. He was sizing me up.

We finally got the damn thing to work and the room cooled off, but things between us were just starting to heat up.

How heated you may ask? Well maybe I'll tell you next time computer, but fpr now let's just say, that I didn't wind up putting my shirt back on til later. Much later.
