"Good evening, computer.

Our experiences at Starbase 152 have been less than desirable since we arrived, but the situation is proceeding at pace. The personal items have been transferred aboard the Galileo, as have the project's scientists.

And I've received two very capable security officer transfers. Rice and Rhodes... I'll have to come up with a new call-sign for Rhodes. Rhodes Number Two? No. Something will come to me. The Human and the Tandaran seem eager, honest, and they both are actively looking for a position that suits them - and have the will to earn it. I look forward to testing them in the morning to see exactly what they are capable of, but for now I am pleased with the transfers. Rice has a willfulness that I see as being quite useful in mediation settings with the right training, and I can see the Tandaran's background and posturing as excellent qualities in a bodyguard. Neither of them seem very trusting of the more unique attributes of Betazoids, but I hope that as they learn our team and the way we - specifically I - work, they will learn to be more accepting. It would make our work here eminently easier.

I have not been able to locate Lilou at all in the last couple days, despite efforts to the contrary, but I am given to understand her duties and projects have kept her quite occupied. As have a few visits to our counselor, I am pleased to hear. I hope that she is fighting her unspoken demons.
