Personal Log:

I can't believe we have to deal with these filthy animals. They are doing nothing but lying and playing us from the very beginning. I Know what they are doing....I wouldn't e surprised if they are the ones behind the phantom sightings., just to install fear upon their workers. Or worse, to lure us here.

I am eager though, to explore some of the caverns and speak to the miners about what they have seen and about their working conditions. Also, I really wonder if the Cardassians even truly care about anything other than the profit they aquire from the mines.

I'm hoping that the science teams will be able find what's going on. The scans from the sensors I am hoping will provide some evidence-based facts. Something to dove up the wazoo of that damned Cardassian Gul. He'll get his soon enough.
