ON:

This is P-O-1 Viru Evek's personal log number one.

I am presently in the first day of my new life aboard the USS Galileo. I haven't really had the chance to interact I didn't get much opportunity to interact with my new crewmates while I was on Earth, so I am hoping to make up for that now. If they'll let me.

I did happen to meet one of the other crewmembers, the quartermaster. One of those boyish faced Betazoids. We had a trip the the holodeck and... I guess I triggered some kind of weird, postr traumatic stress reaction. It was a very uncomfortable position to be in. In any case, I don't think I'll be seeing much of him. At least not if I could help it.

He probably hates me anyway. Maybe I'll ask the counselor about it, I have my psych eval scheduled tomorrow. Or maybe I can ask him about the quartermaster's really bizarre reaction to disturbing stimuli.

But, I did a lot more on Earth than just having awkward holodeck adventures. I traveled and visited a lot of the world's museums. Several medical history museums, specifically. I am always interested in seeing ancient medical methods and ideas and tools. Very interesting things. Museum Vrolik, my favorite probably, was in a region called the Netherlands, which of course sounds suspiciously like an old Bajoran Euphemism I know.

I went back to Starfleet Academy, visited some of my instructors from basic training. Commander Selvak just had to debate politics with me, as usual. Not much had changed.

I spent a lot of time in San Francisco. Until I got attacked. I went to a cafe one day, then through some strange coincidence, the kids from from Trel Napa, they recognized me immediately and decided to right my wrongs I guess. I got a pretty nasty head wound, but I recovered completely. It's fine. I'm heading into deep space now, I doubt I will run into them again. I still love them a lot, even if they don't feel the same.

I am looking forward to my next shift and getting to know my colleagues. Maybe I will check out the ship's gym or go to the lounge. Oh, and they also have a new arboretum. I definitely should look at that.

Anyway, I am rambling.

Computer, end log.
