"Amril's personal log, stardate 68115.5,

"I do believe I will be returning to duty aboard the Galileo. Earth is terribly boring when one is forced to spend one's time being debriefed over and over by the same four admirals. Captain... Commodore Saalm said she would put in a recommendation of some sort. I will meet with the admirals tomorrow and they will determine whether or not they trust me to serve aboard a Starfleet vessel.

"I've spent a great deal of time considering how to spend 'free time.' I am not at all used to doing something that does not serve my superior's. I prefer to be doing something constructive. Since I am bound to have free time, I've decided to explore aspects of Federation culture. I have not yet decided where to begin, something I know the least about.

"Oh, of course, I will continue my research into beauty. I've discovered ancient Earth philosophers who have a great deal to say on the matter. I have been reading their works from Starfleet's data archives. I suppose I had better go prepare for tomorrow.

"End log."
