Dance of the Bipolarons

"What is with me? My mind is still awhirl with the events of the day. The 'scissors' seem to have progressed nicely but just when I thought to sleep my mind is still active.

Anyway, here is what my over active mind is dreaming: A dance of quasiparticles but specifically polarons.

In my dream though the polarons link into a bound pair. Each bound pair, a bipolaron line up and yet they do not quite touch. As they touched objects, the objects would dissolve.

I awoke and could not sleep and started some research into my dream. Two polarons when close together lower their quantum energy state. I cannot help but see that as if my dream if sufficient bound pairs form then a sort of Bose-Einstein condensate can form and any material they touch would fall into its lowest quantum state and thus basically the state of any matter or energy would basically be disrupted.

If such a thing could be done, it would prove to be a terrible weapon, no energy shield, no armour of virtually any material would be able to withstand it for all would fall into its base quantum state and fall apart.

Such thoughts frighten me. Is this what happened so many generations ago on my world?
I can see more clearly the view of the Guilds council.
