Personal log, Stardate: Stardate 67164.8

So I spoke with Aeryn not so long ago...maybe twenty minutes or so, and she told me she may be getting reassigned from McKinley Station out to DS-Four. I can't for the life of me figure out why a place like DS-Four would need a Warp Dynamics expert. Quinn told me to get ready to get dumped. She has not even addressed renewing the marriage contract either. Maybe he is right.

Gan and I are working on upgrading the ships EPS system. It's tricky, and very time consuming. You try to play with it before shutting down the power to one of those and buddy, you will end up as a crispy-critter. I almost lost my entire left hand one time doing just that very thing. Luckily for me, Quinn was watching my back when it happened and pulled me off of it. After a week in sickbay, I quickly learned not to do that ever again.

I have to say that Peers is doing a tremendous job with engineering. It's like the old man never left, really. Plus, not that I would ever say anything to her, but she is beautiful. Quinn told me that he loves her like a daughter. I can honestly say that if, the stars help us, that Quinn ever had a girl, Peers would be it. I'm glad she is running the Department, though I miss harassing Markum all day long, but this was a good trade. Another staff meeting is about to start in Main Engineering, and I got a great lead on where to score some non-replicated, fresh ground coffee on board.
