Personal Log - 006 - Blessings in desguise

ON:

The extended shore leave time has been a true blessing. The additional time has allowed for some fun, additional training, but more importantly some bonding amoung the crew. I feel that bonding will be more effective to how well the crew functions in a crisis than any weapons training that takes place.

There has been a large turnover in ship's personnel. This is normal for Starfleet, I realize, but with the expected mission I feel that some part or parts of the mission has not been made known to me.

I know that that concept is also very normal when starfleet inteligence is involved. I have not been notified of that, as yet, through proper channels of any such situation. However, I have been thinking about my brother more often recently, and how he would handle this situation.

It has been over a year since I have seen Stephon. I am sure he is being kept very busy with the Romulan situation upon us.

I plan to continue to have the security teams train and be ready for any crisis situation. From rescue opperations to armed combat, we will be ready.
