"Computer begin recording, Lieutenant Commander Luke Wyatt, Chief Security Officer's personal log entry 3, stardate 304170.5.

The Galileo has been in transit for a few months now, four to be precise and while uneventful on the exploration front I have found that this time has helped the crew to reconnect. One such event the launch party particularly played a huge role in getting the crew together on a level in which everyone could appreciate. I would like to also report that no criminal activities occurred during the event which is a rather commendable feet with an entire crew getting legless in a small location.

My department has taken well to training which we are running concurrently with ship-wide emergency procedure drills for both on and off ship environments. The crew is performing above what I would class as standard despite our rocky past and having many fresh new faces aboard.

At current, I only have one minor borderline major incident to report between a member of my department and an engineering crewman who felt honour-bound to strike my officers face. The situation was swiftly dealt with and a full report can be found on the ships incident report log.

Since this is supposed to be an personal log I feel propelled into mentioning that things between I and Lieutenant Sandoval, Marisa as I've come to know her have moved at a very steady and productive way in developing our relationship. Unlike me, I have opted to take things slower and more responsible than in the past which is just another positive aspect Marisa brings out in me. She is a beautiful woman not just in her physical appearance but in her mind, I hope that we have a future together.

With just two month left to push the crew should expect training to bump up in its intensity and start preparing themselves for the mission ahead, I know this haul was going to be tough and strenuous at times but its no reason to start slacking off now and becoming complacent, we all know what can happen then.
