"Computer open Executive Officer log"

Allyndra shuffled a bit before starting. She was still not feeling that she should be in this spot but it was what it was.

"The star is in a major build up again but the away team discovered a copy of a book that describes the pyramid in the town as some sort of machine. A machine that somehow can control the star. I have sent our engineers along with the science officer to see if they can find any resolution.

In the meantime Commader Wyatt has gotten the "Kindred Spirits" since we do not know if there is anything we can do. The "Schofield" remains as we are having trouble locating one away team member. Another has been located and should be able to effect rescue.

All the while we will attempt to keep our presence unknown as much as possible. Commander Blake has kept a quite level head.

Hopefully we can do something and rescue the remaining away team before the star erupts and we are forced to flee the system.
