Personal Log: Supplemental.

I have just returned to my quarters for a shave and fast shower. We have completed the upgrade and attachment of the Sienna Device to the warp core. I have every confidence in it working, and not blowing us into a zillion micro atoms, or whatever. The Vorta, his name escapes me, has been very insightful, and a real help. We would never of completed it so fast without his advice, and insight. I may actual start to like this guy. Funny, seeing the hell we went through battling against them in the Dominion War. Time heals all wounds, I suppose...and if it doesn't, well, grow the hell up and get on gettin on.

Tarish is leaving for Betazed once we finally get back home. She has to visit her family there. She is resigning her commission, due to the pregnancy has already been deemed high risk. I guess even though we are both humanoids...we are still of different species, and I guess that can cause some possible health issues with not only the baby, but with Tarish as well. Her mother is not exactly happy that she is pregnant, but the thought of having a grandchild has softened her callousness. Funny how that happens.

I have to get back to being busy, I suppose. I need to hightail my ass back up to the bridge. I hope this wild ride we are about o enmbark on wont fly the ship apart.
