[Log is open]

"While fertile males at one time had wings they rarely do now. There is an old tale about that, that goes something like this:

Many many years ago there was a fertile male that was terribly handsome. Such was his beauty that even the goddesses wished to have him for their own.

He courted two and gave as his name a different one to each. Each goddess asked if they were his only one, to which he said, 'but of course'. This went on for quite some time and each would talk to the other about the handsome young man they had found.

The goddesses thought that their man was better than the other so they decided one day to arrange to meet each other's man. As soon as one saw the man, they realized that he had played a game with the two of them.

They teased him until he followed them into the air. Once high in the air, the two goddesses grabbed his wings and pulled them off. The poor man fell a long way to ocean barely surviving.

To this day, that is why the men have no wings."

"End tale and close log"
