Eelim Galan’s Quarters

Eelim woke from a somewhat restful nap. He had the morning off and honestly didn’t know what to do with himself. If they had been on a starship he could have gone to the holodeck or swam laps in the gym but this was unlike anything he’d seen.

He got himself a bottle of water and thought about their destination. His sister had chosen to join the Klingon Empire, his brother the Romulan, and he himself had made Starfleet his choice.

Last he’d heard Laga, his sister, had married a Klingon General and was living on the home world. She now worked as aid to a member of the High Council. He wondered if he should tell the CO but he choose to keep it to himself. He did however look forward to seeing his little sister and meeting her husband. There was so much he wanted to talk to her about.

As for now he used his replicator chip to give up his lunch for an opportunity to replicate Allyndra something. He smiled as he replicated a gentle lavender rose and some paper. He’d always been fond of writing so he sat and hand wrote a love letter to her.

Grinning he attached the note with ribbon and headed to sickbay. When he arrived Allyndra was too deep in conversation to hear him or see him. He slipped inside and left the rose and note on her desk.

They had not gotten much time together and he was saddened by that but once life returned to normal he looked forward to spending time with her. He looked at her one last time and slipped out heading back to his quarters. He’d managed to swipe a blank PADD from work so he’d use that as a personal log device. He had so much to say and not having access to a place he could say it was wearing on him. He didn’t much believe in counselors although he’d heard from Varro that this one was different. She really seemed to care.

Sighing he changed his mind and headed back to sickbay and to the little room the counselor had made her own. He hoped that she could see him today. He had much on his mind.

He stood in front of the door feeling oddly nervous. He took a deep breath and pressed the button and waited…
