Ryan sighed as he adjusted his PADD and the cam to make sure that he was in full view of the pick up. He sighed, loosening his shoulders before standing straighter. “Computer, Start Last Will and Testimony.”

“Hi, Mom, Pops, Mina. I hope that this reaches you all in good health. If you are seeing this, it most likely means I am no longer with you. This isn't the first time I have created one of these and I really hope that you never do, but this is the most recent one.” He rubbed the back of his neck, looking a little sad. “Gosh, this hard. There is nothing in the quadrant that can express how much I love you all, and I want to thank you for all that you have done for me. For without your love and support I would not have been able to see this beautiful galaxy that we live in. See the birth place of our species, to see suns flare and die, to see courage and love.” He smiled. “To stand by a friend on there wedding day, or be there in the waiting room, waiting for news on there first born. Mom and Pops, with your encouragement and support, I have seen and done many things, and I hope, no I know it has been a pretty full life thus far. While I hope that I still have many more years left, as I said before, if you are seeing this I am no longer here. Mina, for all the crap you put me through and all the crap that I put you through as kids, all the stupid arguments and fights, I am sorry. I am sorry if I was ever a bad brother to you, if I never supported you, or if I didn't encourage you. I do love you dearly, and I only ever wanted was best for you. That is why I never told Mom and Pops about all the times I watched you sneak out of the house and all the times I covered for you when you did.” A glimmer of mischief touched his eyes. “Opps, I didn't mean spill the beans. Sorry Mina, but I love you and I hope that you continue to follow your dreams of being a doctor. For there is no one else that I would better see in a white lab coat than my little sister. Also, for the love all that is sacred, get rid of Brad. No one likes him, and he is a much a tool as a hydrospanner is, and he is doing nothing for you than hold you back. Mom and Pops were never going to say it, so it about time someone did.” Ryan said his tone being slightly more stern than he intended. He forced himself to visibly relax.

“Anyways, please don't be sad for me. Don't cry over my grave, if there is one, please play the song 'The Parting Glass', I always liked that one. Also, please have a party or a memorial service, I know funerals are as much to say good bye, as they are to help you cop with lose, but I never liked them. And to be honest, this is me we are talking about, you know how much I despise pomp and circumstance. Ok, I joined the Marine Corps and Starfleet, it comes with he job, but I like to avoid it wherever possible,." He said with a smile, and lowering his hands in a 'I surrender' gesture.

"Please remember the happy times. The time I almost burned down the house because I wanted to create my own homemade rocket, or when I loaded Mina's Dolls into my RC plane, and dropped them on her during her tea party. Ok, maybe not that one, but the time we went to Bajor or the Time dad nearly got arrested because he punched the Vulcan security agent who kept saying, 'You are illogical.' Remember the happy memories, for if you are seeing this, then I most certainly did. Remember them, and I will always be with you. I love you all.” He said with a big smile.

“Computer, End last will and Testimony.”
