Tour - Holodecks
Summary
USS Galileo has two holodecks located adjacent to each other on Deck 5. Both are the same size and configuration, and can be configured and operated independently of one another to serve a variety of functions. The crew primarily use them for R&R, research and science simulations, and training.

| Description | The holodeck is a form of holo-technology designed and used by Starfleet. They are installed aboard starships, space stations, and at Starfleet institutions for entertainment, training, and investigative purposes. The holodeck consists of a room equipped with a hologrid containing omni-directional holographic diodes, enabling holographic projections through the manipulation of photons contained within force fields. |
