Summary

Serving as the primary equipment and supply storage area aboard the Mark II Nova-class, the main cargo bay is located on Deck 3 along the ship's dorsal spine and houses the majority of the vessel's extra supplies and equipment necessary for an extended deployment into space.

Description		Not to be confused with the smaller auxiliary cargo bay located on Deck 5, the main cargo bay is the ship's primary storage area and houses the large cargo transporter platform capable of transferring multiple heavy loads at a quick rate. Although this cargo bay can be used as a multi-role facility during emergencies, its primary function is to serve as a storage unit for all essential items. The auxiliary shuttlebay is also located here within the aft section of the bay.
