Physical Description		Asha is the only known offspring of a Nekomi and a human therefore she possesses an unusual mix of characteristics of both species with a tendency towards her mothers side. She is a little taller than the average Nekomi female but still the slim lithe build of a female Nekomi Possesses the felinoid claws, ears and tail of a Nekomi but both ears and tail are shorter than usual which led to balance issues as she began to walk on the transitional legs all Nekomi have.

Personal History		The only child of Mimi and John Hollenday, Asha was born in 2394 after a long and complicated birth of the first ever Nekomi human hybrid. Barely two years after Asha’s birth the war between the federation, Klingons and Romulans broke out, in the same year the USS Galileo-A while exploring a relatively empty section of space discovered the homeworld of the Nekomi. Having finally been reunited with what remained of her family both Mimi and John made the decision that given the conflict it was safer to leave Asha in the safer hands of her grandmother Naria and auntie Tali. After reaching the age of maturity Asha decided that she wanted to make the dangerous voyage back into federation space and headed for earth. There she sought out the family of her father and was hit with the news that many years earlier the USS Galileo-A had been destroyed not long after she had been left on the Nekomi homeworld and all of the crew were presumed dead. Instantly ‘insert name’ decided to join starfleet. Asha was one of the last classes of students to graduate from the relocated Starfleet Academy on Starbase 001 before it and Earth’s loss to the Klingon Romulan alliance in 2416 earning her commission as an Ensign. Asha served on several ships across 2416-2417, surviving the destruction of several of them until she heard rumours of a secret plan by a former commander of the USS Gallieo-A and the current Commander the Galileo-B, Rear Admiral Saalm, Asha put in a special request to be assigned to the Galiileo-B and was accepted as an Engineering Officer
