Personal History

Eric was born to Gary and Mary Anderson as their first child. 10 years later his sister Sarah was born. As the first born and the only son, there was huge pressure on Eric to succeed and to follow in the footsteps of his Doctor parents.

When it became evident that Eric didn't have his parent's brains, the decision was made for him to follow the route into counselling. It wasn't ideal for Gary and Mary but it would do.

Because of the attention Eric received, Sarah grew up a rebellious child, always in trouble and partying her life away. At the age of 16 she ran away from home and hasn't been seen since.

Upon hearing of his sister's disappearance, Eric was stationed on the ISS Washington as a counsellor. He had befriended one of the security officers with a reputation for wildness. Jaana had started attending him for counselling sessions under orders from her superiors but as the sessions went on the closeness continued.

After one eventful session where Eric himself was wound up and upset at his sister's disappearance, the tension between the two came to ahead and that night signaled the beginning of their romance; seeing them married six months later.

As Eric shifted from one ship to the next, Jaana followed but as the years passed the differences in their personalities became more evident. Eric begun to relaise that the original attraction had been Jaana's situation being similar in ways to his sister. He had taken on Jaana in the thoughts that if he could save her like he couldn't do for Sarah.

Now stationed on the ISS Galileo, Eric knows that the future with his wife hangs in the balance.
