Personal History

Born at the height of Bajor’s esteem in the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance, Oren enjoyed a comfortable life with her family before they were discovered by the Cardassians. Taken away at a young age, Oren presented a unique subject for the Cardassian military. As an El-Aurian, Oren’s empathy served her well in training against intrusion by telepaths and her appearance made it almost too easy to fit in among Terrans. Oren was raised in a boarding school run by the Cardassian and Bajoran joint forces on Cardassia Prime, where she was schooled. Due to her slow aging process, Oren’s schooling lasted the better part of twenty years, during which she gained all of the possible knowledge she could regarding preparation for true military training. At the age of 40, she was transferred to a military college, where she trained to become an expert in infiltration tactics and clandestine operations. After training, she spent the better part of her thirty year career in TE territory, working as an undercover agent for the KCA. In 2385, Oren's Terran persona was finally ‘killed in action’ as her mission was completed and she was allowed to return to Cardassian territory.
