Brown spots that identify him as a Trill run from his temples and underneath his clothes, and he has the abdominal pouch customary of his species. He is a little less than neat with his appearance at times, seeing no reason to waste much time on making himself anything more than clean and comfortable, and one can often find him with a few day's growth of stubble. Cyrin's hair is often kept short, either lying flat on his head or on the rare occasion styled and combed. His eyes are a stormy gray, sometimes with flashes of blue or silver depending on the light.

Personality & Traits

General Overview Cyrin is a man of science. His whole purpose in life is to work, to advance knowledge, and to find new ways to apply what he has learned to create the very best weapons available. As a weapons designer for the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance, he gets plenty of opportunity to do so. He cares not for petty questions about the morality of what he is doing, even when his creations are used to kill hundreds or thousands. The Terrans have brought it upon themselves, in his mind, and deserve what they get.

There's not much room for anything else in Cyrin's life beyond his work. He has no true friends, no lover besides science, and no real purpose anymore. The loss of much of his family has left him a cold and unfeeling person. Seeing humanity being put in it's place is possible the only thing that might make him smile, or on those few occasions when he gets to test out his latest design on a Terran prisoner.
Strengths A gifted scientist, there are few who can match Cyrin's facility with applied high energy physics and weapons design, despite his youth. He stays physically active, to keep himself in good shape, and has the confidence and combat skills that his counterpart from the other universe lacks. Cyrin has no trouble leading a team of other researchers, so long as they can keep up with him and follow orders precisely.
Weaknesses Cyrin has a very limited view of the world. There are Terrans, who are enemies, and then there's everyone else. It's perhaps oversimplified, and he's even aware of it, but he doesn't plan on changing this outlook. Cyrin's lack of conscience is a dangerous thing to have in his profession, and has lead to the creation of a number of deadly weapons and the deaths of many people.
Ambitions To build the ultimate weapon, a thalaron-based weapon, would be his crowning achievement.
Hobbies & Interests Cyrin lives for nothing outside of his job, so has no real hobbies. His life is focused on his work, with no room for anything other than keeping himself fit and healthy.
Vernacular A dull-sounding tenor, clear and dry. Often uses scientific language in his speech, regardless of whether others can understand him or not.
Orientation Asexual
Language(s) Spoken Trill, Terran, Klingon, Cardassian

Personal History Cyrin's early life was one of frequent violence, loss, and suffering. Trill was a hotspot during the Terran Rebellion, as many of his people supported one side or the other at varying times. Cyrin's family, KCA loyalists, often gave their lives in battles against rebels and even their own race on numerous occasions. By the age of ten, Cyrin had seen both of his parents, one of his brothers, and both of his sisters killed. These early losses hardened him, as they might anyone, and lead him down a path of quiet revenge.

From a young age, it was obvious to others that Cyrin boasted an impressive intellect. When he became a teenager, he caught the attention of the KCA recruiters who were always eager to find the brightest minds to join them in their efforts against the Terrans. Cyrin was fourteen years old when he was conscripted, taken from Trill, and sent to Cardassia Prime to study. Within a few years, he'd proven his genius to these instructors and superiors, inventing the first Varon-T disruptor which quickly became a favourite amongst fleet captains.

Since that time, Cyrin has been the mind behind a number of powerful and terrifying weapons the KCA has used in its battles against the Terrans. From biological to chemical, projectile to energy based, weapons for ground troops or weapons for ships, Cyrin has made attempts to further his side's destructive capabilities. Though not always successful, there have been enough victories to see him rise in respect, until he caught the eye of the Queen-Regent. Now he serves directly at her whim, offering his mind and the horrors he creates in his labs without reservation.

His latest, and most ambitious project to date, is the construction of a thalaron-radiation weapon. Though it is not complete yet, if he were to succeed, Cyrin feels that it would spell the end of the Terran threat once and for all. Another of his achievements has been the creation of the weapon known as Beaumont. Having taken a wild and dangerous half-Terran half-Vulcan for his experiments, Cyrin has reshaped, tortured, and molded the man into a telepathic weapon of frightening power. He keeps his creation loyal and dependant upon him, offering Beaumont all that he needs be it the drugs that enhances his telepathic powers, the pain that keeps him focused, and even someone to talk to when needed. Though Cyrin cares little for Beaumont as a person, he views the man as one of his most precious weapons and will fake tenderness or even kindness when Beaumont succeeds, and deals out punishment for failure.
