| Personal History | .:Early Years:. Chauncey William Remington III was born on the 7th of April 2353 aboard Jupiter Station where his parents served Starfleet. While they served as civilians, William was accepted into Starfleet Academy in 2371 and went on to graduate four years later. .:Dominion War:. With the Dominion War taking vast amounts of Federation resources and personnel, several cadets were given early commissions to serve on a Starfleet vessel. William was among these in 2374 and was assigned to the USS Galaxy as an operations officer. During the war, he was with the Galaxy and participated in the First Battle of Chin'toka and the Battle of Cardassia among others. He was promoted towards the end of the war to a junior grade lieutenant .:Post-War:. When the Galaxy was made part of Battle Group Omega in 2379, he was serving as assistant chief operations officer. He was promoted to full Lieutenant a short time later and served as the chief operations officer on Starbase 235 until 2385 when he was made Lieutenant Commander and chief operations officer of the USS Phoenix, an Akira-class starship. Three years later, his ship was heavily damaged in an attack from an unknown vessel, he and the rest of the survivors were given a leave of absence. Will only took two weeks off before seeking another position, getting himself reassigned to the USS Galileo. |
