Personal History		Ben came from a modest background. His mother was an artist, his father a Securities Investigations Officer. His father was a practical man, a good man though a bit rough around the edges. Both father and son thought Elizabeth was a bit flighty. He made it into Starfleet on his first try and specialized in Engineering. He was Valedictorian of his graduating class. He quickly rose in ranks and at the age of 33 became Captain of his own ship, albeit a Defiant class ship. It was there that he came across a young Andorian boy, Keval and took him under his wing, raising him as his own son. The boy was a dreamer, an artist, who would have gone no where in his life if Ben had not come along. Just like his own mother, Keval was flighty. smart and gifted, but flighty. Worse yet, he liked boys over girls. Ben did not buy into the modern idea of acceptance, he still thought of it as morally reprehensible and unnatural. Making matters worse, he fell in love with the wrong kind of boys. Those that were beneath him, those who only wanted to take advantage of him. So he turned him into a electronics expert like himself and made him the Chief Technical officer of his company, Eagle Communications. His son discovered that he was planting electronic eavesdropping equipment in the communications systems he was selling to other corporations and that he was supplying to the Federation and ratted him out. He left Starfleet at the age of 40 and spent 10 years building up his business into a conglomeration . At the age of 48, he was caught and sentenced to ten years in a penal colony for attempting to using the eavesdropping equipment to gain a competitive advantage and blackmail. He was also planning to sell the info he gained from the equipment sold to Starfleet to the highest bidder, but never got around to it. He spent seven years and was a model prisoner and was released three years early. He is once more seeking his fortune, however he can and is seeking revenge on those he feels responsible for the demise and break up of his business and his time in the penal colony. Number one on that list is his son Keval. He just want Keval to pay for his "sins" but he wants him to suffer for it.
