| General Overview | Melinda is one of those people who are lively and fun to be around. She is open-minded and easy going. She lives a life of no regrets and is happy with her decisions and where she is at in her life. On the flip side of that, she is a consummate professional and takes a lot of pride in her work. Though she never attended the Academy, she believes that her job as an enlisted person is just as important as those that are commissioned. Family is also very important to Melinda. It does pain her to be so far away from her family but she also knows that in order to pursue a career in Starfleet, she needs to be available to go where she is needed. With that said, she wants to have a family of her own as well, but that will come when it comes and right now she is focused on her career. |

| Strengths | Strengths and weaknesses are an important part of humanity; at least that is how Melinda looks at things. One of her biggest strengths is her technical ability. This is something that sets her apart from the rest of her family who are either in the arts, professors or in medicine. She is also quite easy going, open-minded and of course driven. | |
| Weaknesses | Some of her weaknesses involve more of her own self-worth. She can be quite hard on herself and though she is happy with her work, she sometimes feels that she could do better. She also has a horrible sense of direction and can get lost quite easily if she is not given really good directions. She also is a horrible cook, even her replicator can turn on her in a heartbeat. | |
