| Physical Description | Sigrid, or Siri for short, is naturally red-haired. Though recently she's been colouring it blonde. She styles it down in large spirals of curls that have been at various lengths over the years. Currently she's let it grow down to cascade onto her shoulders. She's twenty-five years old, and has been telling people that for the last three years. She uses all the highest advances in beauty products from all over the galaxy and can easily pass as a being in her early 20s. She has widely spaced, intense blue eyes with flecks of hazel. Her long nose and wide smile accentuates her soft feminine features. She has a petite but fairly solid physique. She has the usual pale white skin of her nordic ancestors. |

She can talk her way in or out of anything, having a gift of the gab. She can get bored easily if she has to do simple repetitive tasks. She's very comfortable around non-humans, having grown up on a planet close to Delta and Rigel, there's not much she hasn't seen. | Personal History | This human colonist was born on the ninth planet orbiting the star Vega. The Thelin family tree extends all the way to the original settlers of Vega IX. Her young parents, Gerty and Sven still live in the same house her dad grew up in. Like most East End residents, Sven works as a dock worker. Her mother currently works in a beautician clinic. Sigrid also lives on Vega IX. Her mother constantly worries she'll become a “newsfeed victim” in reference to the current local media trend of splashing crime stat tickers in every available billboard space. Her concern of course is because her precious Siri maintains a painfully small apartment space on the north end of main street. A notoriously rougher area of the colony. During the day, she used to work as a head server/hostess at the Stagger Inn. As much as she hated her boss, the position meant she didn't have to wear those humiliating tight shirts with the stag head logo on the stomach and the antlers branching up to emphasize the girls chest area. Until recently, her nights have been filled working as a bartender/ lounge singer. Ever since she'd been a little girl she has always dreamed of leaving the Vega system to explore space. A chance encounter with a regular patron sends her not only off-world for the first time, but all the way to Sol III. She currently works at Alta Plaza Garden Cafe at the Alta Plaza Park in San Francisco. She has an application open for a civilian bartender position with Starfleet. She lives with relatives of her friend, Deidre while she waiting for her first assignment. She eventually met a Bolian named, Mott one day at the Cafe. During the conversation it was spontaneously decided that the Bolian, who also happened to be a medical officer for the USS Galileo took it upon himself to introduce Sigrid to Captain Holliday. The Captain was upset that Dr. Olsam had sprung it on him, but reluctantly agreed to hire Sigrid as the bar manager. It didn't take long for Sigrid to fall in love. With Starfleet that is. Something had clicked within her and she knew that she wanted to be something more than a bar manager. With another spontaneous act, she left the ship and enlisted with Starfleet. 6 months later, Sigrid is rejoining the Galileo, but as a newly graduated Crewman Apprentice Sigrid Thelin |
