Updated Pages


  • Front Page - the website's front (landing) page was update to reflect all new Ep20 images and content. A new mission banner and synopsis was added.
  • Subnavigation (all pages) - the New Characters display was updated with the addition of our newest PCs and PNPCs.
  • Crew Manifest - the manifest was updated to reflect all new and departed characters. A new enhanced PNPC mod was deployed.
  • Episodes - Episode 20 was created and brought online for posting. New mission notes were created to indicate open MDs.
  • Crew Quarters & Offices - the wiki's Q&O list was updated with the most recent characters, quarters assignments and duty locations.
  • Duty Teams - the full manifest and duty roster Source of Truth document was updated to reflect all new and departed characters.
  • Crew Recreation - the wiki's meal service section of the Crew Rec page was updated to remove Orion Cuisine Day and replace it with Vulcan Cuisine Day on rotation day 2.
  • Star Systems - the wiki's star system page was updated to include comprehensive information about the Remidia system: Galileo's base of operations and home of Regula I and the planet Remidia.
  • Notable Planets - the wiki's special planets page was updated to include information for Remidia, Alpha Centauri and Vulcan.

Comments

The month of July saw many new updates and improvements to our website. Along with new wiki content and a revamped crew manifest featuring new PCs, PNPCs and NPCs, the game's new episode is now online and featured on all relevant pages. Standard maintenance continues and we underwent a seamless server migration earlier in the month. Page loading speeds are now significantly improved.

Several bug fixes within our Nova skin were identified and resolved, including one in our Ship Tour which prevented all images from properly resizing in relation to screen resolution and browser window size. A new iteration of the improved PNPC mod was uploaded which includes color-coded text buttons for each character to improve visibility and parsing.

New projects for August include the addition of an audio player with special Star Trek motifs, a revamped ship tour and ship specs page with image modals, and a page loading icon. Several other minor issues were identified within the Nova software app and reported, and a new version of Nova (2.7.12) is in the works.

July's website visitation numbers followed a rising trend; we're gaining more unique visitors month over month again following a short decline in Spring, which is great to see. Exposure remains solid and a new round of player recruitment will occur later this month to hopefully fill our remaining position vacancies.
