Comments

May was a busy period for the website which saw two fun new features added as well as a plethora of manifest updates following the departure of two players earlier in the month. A couple new redshirt NPCs have been added to medical; the duty roster and quarters assignments have been changed; and new open positions were made available to prospective players.

The recent attempt to update to Nova 2.7.10 was unsuccessful and a couple issues have been brought to the attention of the webapp's developer. We'll be skipping this minor version update and waiting for the next iteration to be released before attempting another update. In addition, jasoncollege24 and I are working behind the scenes to optimize our database and prepare it for future updates. Finally, the transition from PHP v7.4 to PHP v8.1 was recently performed and a couple minor issues were ironed out.

May's visitation numbers were down slightly from April but higher than those from March. Our SEO optimization appears to be paying off with a steady stream of visitors from around the web on a regular basis. We also have a new pending sim partner (sister ship) which should hopefully give us even more exposure over the coming months.

That's all for May. As always, look for additional website updates in the coming weeks as ongoing work continues.

Jay
