The first version of our new website slideshow banner is now online and operational. Special thanks to Jasoncollege24 for his multi-month work on this fun addition to our site. The two of us are still working on some improvements to the code (specifically to enable a pause button for the slide transitions) but I'm quite happy with this almost-final product.

The departmental duties list is ready to go but I was delayed at the end of this month and will need a few more days to work out the HTML and CSS implementation into our wiki. Following that, the final web task is a second attempt at turning our main background image into a responsive one capable of resizing depending on the user's browser resolution.

Website visitation during March was extraordinary. Unique visitors increased over 70-percent from February and many other metrics (page hits/views and avg. time spent on-site) showed very similar trends. We didn't have a particularly active posting month over the past 31 days but we seem to be drawing considerable interest from the larger Trek community.

No major changes are expected in the immediate future. The focus now will be on polishing our website to give it a final coating and continuing to add new wiki content as it arises. As always, anyone interested in becoming a wiki contributor (or contributing more) is always welcome to give me a poke at any time and I'll do my best to accommodate your content request.
