Weekly Update

Crew,

We are rapidly approaching our launch date. The only mission posts which need to be completed are the Banquet post, as well as the Systems Check. Those of you who were involved in the original Systems Check will notice that I've decided to split the post up into different segments. We have finished the first segment, which was the external inspection, and I will be starting the official Systems Check today. This will be another all-crew JP, and we have some new-comers who I think would love to get involved.

We have three new crew members this week. Please welcome:

LTJG Drusilla McCarthy, Chief Counselor
LTJG Evelyn Coleman, Chief Intelligence Officer
LCDR Chauncey Remington III, Chief Operations Officer

Congratulations on your transfers! Please be sure to welcome our new crewmen with multiple JP requests. This also means that we have seven total crew and have just reached Operational status, so we are cleared to begin our first mission.

I have two Wiki updates. The first being that our official Obsidian Fleet Wiki Page is now online. Special thanks to our Chief Engineer, Mister Quinn, for taking the time to create this wonderful page. Secondly, our internal Wiki is progressing along nicely. There are still about fifty or so pages which I need to add and I will be sure to update as soon as I have time. By the time it is completed, we should know everything and anything there is to know about our little ship and her operations.

Finally, as some of you might be aware, I will be taking a short Leave of Absence while I travel across the Pacific and relocate myself. I expect to be gone from Friday (24th) through Sunday (26th), and should be back before the end of the month. Our XO Mister Holliday, is in charge while I'm gone, and all applications will be promptly answered upon my return.
