Weekly Update

I want to congratulate everyone because last two weeks of simming have been amazing...great job guys! We finally finished our 10-part mass JP (whew) and are making good progress on the battle posts. Can we get them all finished by the end of the month as well, I wonder?! XD

Award voting begins on Friday so if we can finish up our current JPs in time, then we can add even more awards for battle performance.

You may also begin writing your monthly personal logs, however I have a twist for everyone this time... :D

I understand not all of us are very fond of writing the same types of logs month after month, and in addition, we aren't currently in an IC position to be recording logs since we are in the middle of battle. However, personal logs are required because they substantially add more depth to characters and the sim, and a well-written personal log can do 3x the character development of multiple JPs. So this month, as a compromise, all of you have the option of writing a character flashback (backpost) as a personal log. Kat (Mor'an) approached me earlier this month with concerns about her PL, so I let her test out the idea and I think it worked great. You can have a look at it here to see an example. These flashbacks can be from any point in a character's past and can be about any topic, but must take place before your character arrived aboard Galileo. Please post these flashbacks as personal logs, not mission posts, but make sure to indicate the date, location and characters involved as if you were writing a regular post.
