Weekly Update

Posted on 21 Mar 2016 @ 5:27am by Rear Admiral Lirha Saalm

Evening Galileans, this week's update is eventful and there's a couple important notices to relay.

First, our departure JP is now underway which is the transition post between the two episodes. I'll be bringing EP11 online tomorrow afternoon and it will be available for posting along with an updated briefing room. Be aware that during this time there will be two missions open for writing at the same time. Please be sure to select the correct mission to post in using the dropdown menu in the 'write mission post' screen.

Next, I'm extending the deadline for all EP10 JPs by an extra week. We still have over 75 pending JPs from shore leave that are in the works and need to be finished up (as well as a few LOAs), so please use the extra time to get these posts tagged, completed, and published to the website. The new EP10 completion date will be Sunday, April 3rd. I'll be sure to send out reminders as we come closer to the deadline.

MDs 81 through 88 are now closed in EP10; please don't start any new posts on these days but feel free to continue any works-in-progress. MDs 90 - 95 are currently open and are the final mission days for shore leave. Departure from Jupiter Station on MD 95 is at 1800.

Sim recruiting is slowly winding down and will be closed at the beginning of April. We've secured most essential positions in many departments and we are approaching our OOC player capacity -- if anyone is interested in joining us in the near future, please encourage them to apply within the next week.

And last (but of course not least), we have two new Galileans to officially announce who recently joined us. Please welcome:

ENS Calin, Security/Tactical Officer
AMB Caymen Greener, Diplomat

Both of our new players bring a great deal of prior simming experience and expertise to our little ship, and I'm excited to have them aboard with us. Welcome, gents!

That's all for this week. More updates will come on the Y! list in the coming days so keep an eye on your inboxes. Carry on!

-Jay
