I have several announcements for everyone this week. First, I discovered over the weekend that Galileo has been named the Task Force 72-C Senior Ship! This is a fun new role for us and it means that I am becoming the new Senior Ship CO for our Task Group, thanks to our TGCO Amara Damian. Be sure to give her a big thanks the next time you see her around.

Next, I would like to announce two new crew members who joined us over the weekend. Please welcome:

LTJG Delainey Carlisle M.D., Ph.D., Chief Counselor
ENS Theron Rhodes, Security/Tactical Officer

Congratulations on your new assignments and welcome to Galileo! Both of them will be coming aboard via shuttlecraft from SB-152 on MD 07, so be sure to plan your welcome JPs with them accordingly.

We have officially soft docked with the starbase and are about to begin our next set of mission JPs. There will be quite a lot of characters involved, including most PNPCs so make sure to communicate with each other over PM and IM. Keep an eye on the mission notes for the most recent updates. The Briefing Room and Mission Map have also been updated to reflect the most current info, and a revised Duty Roster will be posted shortly.

This is the final reminder for monthly personal logs. Every player, if they have not already, must complete a personal log due by May 30th. Failure to post a log will result in a strike. If you have never written a personal log before or are struggling with ideas, look at some previous examples on the website or shoot me or John a PM and we will happily walk you through it. Also, Crew's Choice Award votes are due by the 30th as well. So far I have only received a handful, so please support and reward your fellow friends and players for their great work, creativity and fun posts. Go to the Nomination page as soon as possible and register your votes.

I want to say thank you to everyone for remembering the posting format, the past two weeks have been great to see everyone paying attention and putting out nice-looking posts. Keep up the good work! Also, remember any long posts (over 4,000 words) should be split into multiple parts for readability. ON/OFF tags are not required for personal logs.

Lastly, I need one or two volunteers who want to NPC special characters. The details are secret but I promise it will be fun :D Contact me via PM or IM if interested.
