Weekly Update

Hello everyone!

I hope things are well on whichever side of whichever pond you happen to sit on!

In terms of our update, we've had a really good week of writing. Our mission posts are pushing forward, so thank you to everyone who is working hard on those. We've also had some great character development, (a personal love of mine), and it's all adding to a beautiful tribble hair tapestry of our ship.

Two reminders this week:

If you are replying to the mass mission JPs, please check the corresponding Holodeck chatbox first (the tabs that you see at the bottom right hand corner of the website). At the moment, the teams have merged, but as the title is still 'Team 1', we're using the Holodeck 1 chat tab/box.

If you are going to reply to a mass mission JP, you need to write 'updating' in the Holodeck chat box so no one else overwrites you. When you have finished writing, then write 'Done' in the box so others know that they can add a reply.

This also means you need to check the Holodeck box to see if anyone else has written 'updating' in there, and if they have, please wait for them to finish before opening the JP to add to it.

This feature has been working fantastically for avoiding overwrites on the big JPs, however, the last few days we've had a couple of incidents of overwriting creeping back in, so please ensure you use this nifty feature to help everyone out.

The second reminder, I'll give you three guesses...

No, you don't even need all three...it's Personal Log and Crew Choice Award nomination time! I know, I can't believe it myself, where has August gone? You've still got a little while yet, so don't panic and scream on your way to the keyboard, but I know how people can get with the sense of freedom a bank holiday can bring, so just saying.....
