Weekly Update

Hi crew, it's been another great week for us and I'm happy to see everyone settling in to our next episode so quickly. We're almost done with our Earth departure and senior staff briefing JPs, and both will be posted by the end of next week. I'll be speaking to all DHs shortly and providing them with some OOC instructions to help get all of our players involved in the story, so keep an eye out for some new JPs popping up in your inboxes soon.

I've spent the last couple days working on our character bios and I finally finished uploading all of the updated Starfleet ID info. The Starfleet ID section now displays all characters' office/work area, crew quarters, and roommate (if applicable). Please do not edit this area of your character bios without first speaking to me. Special thanks goes out to Mott and Zhao for putting in a lot of OOC work to finalize the bunking assignments. In addition, I also made some last-minute edits to the ship tour and deck listing to make everything compatible. Now that the roommate assignments are available for all to see, I encourage everyone to do a JP with their new bunkmates. A meet-and-greet might be fine if the characters have never met, or maybe they have already met and are excited (or dejected) to be living together? ;)

Because of the manifest work, I'm a bit behind on monthly crew awards, but will have those posted tomorrow for all to see (I promise!). In addition to crew awards, we had an OF Academy graduate this month: please congratulate Beaumont on his completion of the Engineering specialty course. Well done! We also had four IC promotions take place a couple days ago, and it's my pleasure to announce that Mott, Zhao, and Miir are now full lieutenants. In addition, our loyal Marine-turned-security officer, Wyatt, has been promoted to SCPO. Congrats to all of you on your character advancements!

Lastly, a quick reminder for everyone that the deadline for Episode 05 posts is next Friday, March 14th. Please make sure you finish up and post any JPs you have for Episode 05 before the end of the night next Friday, or else it will either be truncated and posted, or possibly deleted.
